THE SECTION blues rock band (UK) is a five piece guitar driven blues rock band based in the East Midlands. They combine powerful hard hitting blues with classic rock to give their audiences first class live entertainment to suit any occasion.
The core blues rock sound is created by the electric guitar, bass guitar and drums. The current band line up features Steve on lead guitar, providing the inspirational blues rock lead guitar work and awesome guitar solos whilst Rod on drums and Malc on bass add that solid foundation to the sound with explosive bass lines and heavy drum beats. Rich adds that all important core element, the underlying driving harmony and rhythm section. The front man and vocalist Kenny with his distinctive voice and energetic live performances also provides the incredible and inspirational harmonica solos. A powerful combination, keeping blues rock alive.

THE SECTION blues rock band (UK) began their musical careers together in 2015, although the band originated many years earlier with the line up changing significantly since their original inception.
They now comprise of seasoned musicians from all musical disciplines. Their individual musical origins developed years earlier when each of the band members were performing a variety of different music genres which had an influential role in shaping their paths as blues rock musicians. The band is inspired by the sounds of some of the greats in blues rock. Blues Rock is what each of them do best which ultimately brought them together as THE SECTION blues rock band (UK).
Blues is all about tradition and personal expression and as THE SECTION blues rock band they have developed their own unique guitar driven signature sound which offers something special to their fans by performing a wide variety of popular blues rock music.
